Carly Pickern and Troy Greenway, owners, outside the office in Roseville, CA.
You meet the caregiver first
We introduce the caregiver we propose before the first shift. If the fit is wrong, we introduce someone else. Nobody starts care with a stranger at the door.
The owners are in Roseville, CA and reachable
Carly does the assessments. Troy and Ginelle coordinate schedules. There is no franchise call center between you and the people responsible for your parent's care.
Caregivers are employees, not contractors
Every caregiver is a W-2 employee, background checked through the California Department of Justice, registered as a Home Care Aide, trained by us and covered by our insurance.
Licensed and verifiable
Home Care by Athena holds California Home Care Organization license 314700059. You can check it on the Department of Social Services website in under a minute, and we link to it in our footer.
Plans that change with the person
Care needs move. A plan is reviewed after the first visit, at two weeks and whenever something changes. Hours go up or down as needed, without penalties.
Honest about pricing and limits
We explain what drives cost before the assessment and quote exact numbers after it. We also tell you plainly when home care is not the safest answer.
Serving Roseville, CA & South Placer County
